Quality Inspector / Technician

Responsibilities:
Inspector
Perform all QC Procedures and maintain proper documentation.
Maintain laboratory work place and equipments.
Perform the required QC inspection by strictly following Work Instructions and Procedures
and notify QA/QC Engineer of problems.
Liase with inter-departments on production quality issues.
Initiate issuance of Nonconformance Report as necessary.
Generate required reports of QC Inspections.
Assist QA/QC Engineer in execution of equipment calibration, and initiate request of
equipment repair.
Recommend purchase of QC equipments and supplies .
Participate in training new laboratory personnel.
Technician
Assist in the effective operation of the QC department.
Analyse all incoming raw materials, process and finish goods.
Work closely and collaborate with Production, R&D and Supply Chain to imptove on
productivity, ensure efficient and safe operation and maintain cost of running all flavour
operations.
Responsible for Quality System Documentation (ISO) and Internal & External Audit
Programs.
Inspection of machined and fabricated parts with reference to technical drawings.
To coordinate the issuing of parts and quality discrepancy report with production, engineering
& store personnel.
To perform QC activities in accordance to Inspection Test Plan,
Technical Specifications, Packaging and data entry.
Report to QC Supervisor.
Requirement:
Minimum Nitec in Office skills, or equivalent.
Secondary / NTC in Engineering and above.
At least 3 years of QC experience in metal parts manufacturing environment.
Knowledge in GD&T, surface finish requirement and good measuring in
fabrication parts, fixtures and jigs is preferred.
Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized.
Use basic measuring instrument.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience in operating CMM, profile projectors and other QC Equipment.
ISO 9001 or similar quality system auditing experience.
